In July 2025, Fair Well Fishery’s newly built vessel — SKIPJACK MANZAI 707 — set sail from Kaohsiung, embarking on its maiden voyage.
This vessel not only symbolizes Fair Well’s steadfast commitment to the deep-sea fishing industry but also reflects our continued efforts in upgrading fishing technologies.
SKIPJACK MANZAI 707 , a project two years in the making, is equipped with a range of advanced systems, including an energy-saving propulsion system and high-efficiency freezing and processing equipment. These innovations significantly enhance operational speed and energy efficiency, fulfilling low-carbon fishing operations.
The vessel’s interior was also constructed to the highest standards, with thoughtfully designed living quarters to ensure a comfortable environment for crew members at sea. From design to construction, the team actively incorporated ESG principles to create a work environment that prioritizes efficiency, safety, and sustainability.
Before departure, members of the Fair Well audit department, accompanied by a translator, boarded the vessel to conduct various labor and environmental briefings.
A fire safety equipment supplier was also invited to provide hands-on training for all crew members. With a thorough understanding of how to operate the equipment, we can ensure that in the event of an emergency, both the safety of our crew and the protection of the vessel and its equipment are maximized.
The launch of SKIPJACK MANZAI 707 signifies Fair Well’s ongoing commitment to upholding the highest standards in ocean stewardship, environmental responsibility, and human rights.
Skipjack Manzai 707 is currently operating in the Pacific fishing grounds.
We look forward to this vessel bringing more sustainably sourced seafood from Taiwan to consumers around the world, while also injecting a new generation of energy and commitment into the deep-sea fishing industry.
