The distant-water fishing vessel “Win Happy No. 707”, operated by Fair Well Fishery Group, officially departed port on the 31st after completing its annual overhaul and comprehensive equipment upgrades. The vessel has now set sail for the waters of Papua New Guinea (PNG) to commence a new fishing operation, marking the formal launch of a new voyage.

Since entering port last year for scheduled annual maintenance, “Win Happy No. 707” has undergone extensive inspections and system enhancements. During the refit period, Fair Well Fishery Group remained committed to strengthening vessel hardware and improving onboard living conditions, with the aim of enhancing operational efficiency and overall quality of life at sea.

Among the key upgrades, the vessel has been equipped with EU-compliant continuous temperature recording systems, ensuring stable temperature control throughout the entire process from catch to storage. This measure helps maintain optimal product quality and reflects the Group’s strong commitment to food safety and adherence to international standards. In addition, advanced sonar and fish-finding equipment have been installed, enabling the fishing master to more accurately assess fish stock distribution and changing sea conditions.
