“WIN POWER NO. 707,” a purse seiner under the Fair Well Fishery Group of Seaworth Holding Co., Ltd, is set to officially depart for the South Pacific Ocean to commence its fishing expedition following a comprehensive two-month maintenance and preparation period. Bringing together a multinational crew from Taiwan, South Korea, China, Indonesia, the Philippines, Papua New Guinea, and Vietnam, the vessel embodies a collective mission. This voyage not only showcases the Group’s robust operational capabilities built on decades of dedication to international fisheries, but also serves as a concrete testament to its promotion of cross-cultural teamwork.
During its maintenance period in Taiwan, the engineering team conducted a thorough overhaul and upgrade of the vessel’s propulsion, hydraulic control, and electrical systems. These upgrades have significantly enhanced the ship’s navigational stability, operational efficiency, and overall safety management standards. Concurrently, the team comprehensively renovated the crew’s living quarters—replacing everyday electrical appliances, implementing strict vector control measures, and fully renewing comfortable bedding—to create a safe, hygienic, and welcoming home at sea for our far-seas partners.
Guided by its core, “people-oriented” management philosophy, the Group remains dedicated to comprehensive crew care. The ship’s chef has stocked an abundance of fresh vegetables, fruits, diverse meats, and essential provisions to guarantee balanced nutrition. Furthermore, the Group arranged for all crew members to undergo health check while in port. On the day of departure, the Group’s management team led the vessel’s officers in a devout prayer to Mazu, Goddess of the Sea, collectively wishing for a smooth voyage, healthy crew, safe operations, and a bountiful catch.
