“Win Best 707” Safely Departs after Annual Overhaul, after Further Upgrades to Onboard Living and Dining Conditions

Fair Well Fishery Group’s fishing vessel “Win Best 707” resumed operations today (January 29th) after completing its annual overhaul. The vessel, which returned to Kaohsiung in late September, 2025, officially set sail amid well-wishes, heading to the waters of Papua New Guinea (PNG) to commence fishing operations.

To ensure a safer and more comfortable voyage, the scheduled maintenance focused not only on comprehensive inspections of the main and auxiliary engines, but also on the installation of an alarm system, further enhancing onboard safety. Upholding its long-standing commitment to crew welfare, Fair Well Fishery Group has continued to upgrade onboard living standards. Each crew member has been provided with brand-new bedding and winter thermal jackets, while onboard meal preparation has been adjusted to accommodate the dietary preferences of crew members from different nationalities, supporting their health and well-being at sea.

On the day prior to departure, a blessing ceremony was held onboard to pray for smooth and successful operations throughout the voyage. With upgraded equipment and fully stocked supplies, “Win Best 707” now sails toward the PNG fishing grounds with renewed strength, embarking on a new journey toward a bountiful and safe harvest.
