Fair Well celebrated the opening of new fish packaging centre located at Port Moresby, capital of Papua New Guinea on 22nd Nov.

General manager Jesse Huang said Fair Well Fisheries had opened a K6 million fresh fish processing facility in 2007 at the PNG Ports wharf. In September 2015, this all changed upon a notice to vacate that premises, resulting with laying off most of the employees. He was happy that not only senior employees would come back to work, the new facility would employ more workers; about 100 workers and more than 150 crews would be recruited for the fishing operations, which was twice more of staff and capacity to the previous one.

The opening of this new facility demonstrated the dedication of Fair Well to stay for the long haul and work closely with local authorities in tuna business.
